Struggling with weight

I usually refrain from talking about these issues, but Sarah's recent video on her YouTube channel and her blog post inspired me to share my thoughts on this.

The first time I was bullied for my weight was at the age of 7. By no means was I overweight, not at all. I was just a little on the chubby side. Growing up, almost all girls and women around me were struggling with eating disorders (I am not exaggerating) which is why I have never been able to build a healthy relationship with food myself. In fact, I genuinely think no woman on this planet has a healthy relationship with food (but please prove me wrong). I've finally come to accept the fact that eating will never be easy for me. One of the reasons I'm writing this is because I know a lot of women are struggling, but they just don't talk about it.

The comment an anonymous user made on Sarah's body, saying that she was chunky, really upset me. First of all, if you work out as hard as her, you can't just starve yourself. You need to eat to build muscles and stay energized. Most super skinny people I know don't work out, they just starve themselves. Even when I was at my fittest (which was 20 pounds lighter than I am now) I wasn't skinny at all because I used to work out regularly. So Sarah, please be proud of yourself for being healthy and fit and having an amazing body! What I learned over the year is, people who do bully you for your weight most likely have body image issues themselves.
